About Jean-Eudes Assogba
Jean-Eudes wrote his first lines of code at sixteen, learning from YouTube tutorials, second-hand books, and a lot of late nights. Instead of waiting for perfect conditions, he built his own—experimenting with small tools, school projects, and any idea that could be turned into working software.
By twenty-two, he had shipped production systems for startups on three continents, from internal platforms to customer-facing applications that real teams relied on every day. Those projects pushed him toward disciplined engineering: clear architecture, reliable deployments, and interfaces people could actually use under pressure.
Along the way, he kept seeing a pattern: talented African developers being hired to maintain other people's ideas instead of creating original products of their own. Ayiha Labs was his answer—a studio and engineering lab proving that world-class software can be imagined, designed, and built from Benin.
Today, Jean-Eudes serves as Founder and Vision Architect at Ayiha Labs, leading teams across engineering, design, and AI. When he is not deep in code or system design, he teaches, mentors, and writes about software engineering, enterprise systems, and the future of the African tech ecosystem.
“Ayiha Labs exists to prove that African technology can stand at the same level as the world's best-through mastery, design, creativity, and engineering discipline. We build with intention. We build with heart. We build to inspire.”
